This wine is sourced from 40-year-old Wilyabrup Valley vines, fermented as whole bunches.
Our 2016 shows a seductive nose of liqueur-soaked fruit, with the indulgence of rum and raisin chocolate. Plush mulberry fruit intertwines with floral notes of thyme and the sweet warming spices of vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.
A voluminous palate of Dutch cocoa awaits, and ripe blackcurrant in the background. White pepper and a subtle oak char is the perfect accompaniment to the dusty, silky tannins. The finish is long and lingering.
